Seventeen Stem HSF Aeria Faceplate integrates aero hydration
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"If you’re running a 1/Seventeen stem and want the aero benefit of the HSF Aeria bottle, this faceplate is the clean solution. It bolts up easily, keeps the setup tidy, and smooths airflow toward the frame. Just make sure you’re running at least an 80mm stem and mount it in the negative position."
When we’re chasing marginal aero gains without overhauling the entire cockpit, the Seventeen Stem HSF Aeria Faceplate gives us a streamlined solution. Designed to pair the HSF Aeria or HSF Aeroflow bottle directly with the 1/Seventeen stem, it opens the door to integrated hydration and reduced drag.
Forged from 6061-T6 aluminum, this faceplate maintains stiffness and security while adding only 40 grams to the build. By smoothing airflow from the bottle onto the frame, it helps refine front-end aerodynamics while expanding hydration capacity. Compatibility is specific to the 1/Seventeen stem (not the 1/Seven), and it’s recommended to use stem lengths of 80mm or greater to prevent front brake interference. Installed in the negative position, the system keeps the bottle level and race-ready—an efficient upgrade for performance-focused road and triathlon setups.
