Built to go faster, the Phoenix Frame delivers race-proven DH precision with DW6 suspension
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I’ve spent time on the Phoenix frame in bike parks and on full-on downhill tracks, and it’s one of the most composed platforms I’ve ridden. Pivot Cycles’ DW6 suspension tracks brutally rough terrain without hanging up, and the MX wheel setup keeps it quick edge-to-edge while staying planted at speed. If you’re building a no-compromise downhill bike, this frame gives you a rock-solid foundation.”
Built for riders who measure speed in seconds and lines in inches, the Phoenix Frame is Pivot Cycles’ most focused downhill platform. From steep chutes to blown-out braking bumps, it’s designed to stay calm when the trail turns violent and the pace goes up.
At the heart of the Phoenix is Pivot Cycles’ DW6 mid-high pivot suspension, which combines a rearward axle path with a dual-idler drivetrain to improve bump absorption and maintain traction through rough terrain. Adjustable geometry and progression allow riders to tune the frame for different tracks and riding styles, while the mixed-wheel setup balances rollover confidence with quick, responsive handling. It’s a downhill frame built to be pushed hard, lap after lap.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning-and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
