Pelican built this one around high-density closed-cell foam insulation that holds temperature seriously well for a soft-sided cooler, backed by a compression molded base and lid that adds structure and durability without turning the whole thing rigid. The YKK light-pull zipper opens and closes smoothly on the main and side compartments, and puncture-resistant exterior material means it handles rocky trailheads and truck beds without showing wear. Padded shoulder straps reconfigure between vertical and horizontal carry so the cooler adapts to the contents and the context, a soft-grip overmolded top handle handles quick grabs in between, and an exterior pocket keeps the extras organized and within reach all day long.
