When the wind picks up at the summit and the descent stretches long ahead, we zip into the Wind Vest and settle into the ride. PEARL iZUMi built this lightweight layer with a 2L WxB membrane that shields our core from biting gusts while maintaining breathability for high-output efforts.

The high-stretch knit face fabric creates a compressive, race-ready fit that integrates seamlessly with the rest of our kit. PI Dry® C0 technology adds PFAS-free water repellency to fend off light showers and road spray. A YKK two-way zipper allows quick heat dumps on steep climbs or easy access to rear jersey pockets, while a silicone rear gripper keeps the vest anchored in an aggressive riding position. When the sun returns, it packs down to the size of a fist—ready to disappear into a pocket until the next shift in weather.
