The Patagonia Pluma PRO Jacket is built around a three-layer GORE-TEX PRO EPE construction, a membrane laminated directly to the 80D recycled nylon face fabric and woven ripstop backer, eliminating the loose inner liner that traps moisture and adds bulk. Fully sealed seams close every potential entry point, so the shell holds up through sustained storm exposure rather than just a passing squall. On a long skin track or a steep bootpack, the recycled nylon face and sealed construction work together to keep the outer surface shedding, while the underarm vents handle the heat buildup before it becomes a problem.
