This ultralight bug shelter gives us full protection from flying pests while letting the breeze and starlight in—perfect for bug-heavy terrain or as an inner bivy in fair weather.

Updated for 2026, the Bug XT features a double DAC pole design that lifts the mesh canopy away from our face and body, creating a roomy interior that doesn’t feel claustrophobic. The clamshell-style side opening makes for easy entry and exit, while the fully seam-taped, PU-coated floor adds waterproof protection against damp ground. Made with breathable, bluesign®-approved polyester mesh, it’s a minimalist’s dream for sleeping outside when the bugs are relentless and the sky is clear.
