When the route stretches pitch after pitch, and the rock turns sharp under our knees, we need pants that won’t hold us back. The Trad Light Pant by Ortovox is built for committed climbing days, combining lightweight comfort with the durability required for repeated contact against stone.

We move freely thanks to the elastic Shield Ultra Light fabric, which delivers four-way stretch for unrestricted motion on stemming corners and high steps. The recycled polyamide blend dries quickly and stays breathable during long belays in the sun. Anatomically shaped and reinforced knee panels protect against abrasion on rough granite, while the loose fit and crotch gusset enhance mobility on technical sequences. An elastic waistband with internal drawcord ensures a secure fit under a harness, and adjustable ankle cuffs help dial in clearance over climbing shoes. With zippered thigh storage positioned for harness compatibility, it’s a pant designed around the realities of vertical movement.
