We're running the bigger 29in wheel up front to plow through the chunk with stability, paired with a quicker, more maneuverable 27.5in wheel in back that lets us flick the bike through the tight stuff without feeling like we're wrestling a longer wheelbase. That mixed wheel advantage comes from more than just sizing, though.
