Trail running asks the foot to do a hundred different things inside of a single mile. The Notace Yama 1 Trail Running Shoe was built to support all of them without getting in the way of any of them. A zero drop, 15mm stack height keeps the body close to the ground and the gait honest, while the foot-shaped toe box gives the forefoot the freedom to splay, grip, and push off with the full strength nature intended rather than the compressed version most shoes allow.

The outsole is where the Yama 1 earns its trail credentials. Three millimeter angled lugs are positioned with purpose across the entire contact surface, with forward-facing heel lugs providing braking confidence on steep descents, rear-angled forefoot lugs digging in on climbs, and neutral midfoot lugs stabilizing every step across loose, uneven, and unpredictable ground in between. A next-generation eTPU midsole brings lightweight cushioning and ground-responsive flex to the equation, keeping the foot comfortable through long efforts without muting the sensory feedback that makes technical terrain navigable. A synthetic suede heel liner locks the back of the foot in place, and the premium TPU textured insole adds an additional layer of sensory connection underfoot. Whether the route is a well-worn loop or a new line through unfamiliar terrain, the Yama 1 adapts without hesitation.
