Stock SRAM lever blades get the job done, but the narrow stamped profile leaves a lot of braking confidence on the table when the trail gets steep and loose. The Mountain Racing Products Dime Brake Lever Blades replace them with a CNC-machined aluminum design that widens the contact surface to 17.5mm and adds a pronounced hook to keep one finger locked in place through chunk, roots, and hard repeated stops. At 42 grams per pair, they add almost nothing to the bike while giving back meaningfully better modulation and control on the descents that demand it.
