Constructed from rugged 70-denier nylon taffeta with a waterproof coating, the footprint prevents moisture from seeping up from the ground while standing up to the demands of mountaineering camps. Its slightly smaller design helps prevent water from pooling underneath the tent during storms. For minimalist missions, we can also pair the footprint with the tent poles and fly to create a lightweight fast-pitch shelter, giving us added versatility when every ounce matters.
