The Merrell Speed Strike 2 WP Hiking Shoe gives us the best of both worlds—trail-running-inspired comfort with the protection of a waterproof hiker. Designed with a breathable waterproof membrane, it keeps feet dry in wet conditions while releasing internal moisture, so long days on the trail feel lighter and more comfortable.

A synthetic leather and mesh upper adds durability and breathability, while abrasion-resistant toe and heel caps protect against rough terrain. Built with sustainability in mind, the Speed Strike 2 features 100% recycled laces, webbing, mesh lining, and a 50% recycled EVA foam footbed. Cleansport NXT™ treatment keeps odor at bay, so it’s ready for multi-day adventures.

Underfoot, a lightweight EVA midsole cushions each stride, and Merrell’s sticky rubber outsole with 4mm lugs ensures dependable traction across slick rock, packed dirt, and loose gravel.
