Developed specifically for mountaineering and ski touring, it brings a level of weather protection and durability that casual softshells simply cannot match, anchored by a rugged 3-layer membrane fabric that is completely windproof and waterproofed without PFAS chemistry. When conditions turn, these pants turn with them.

The 88% polyamide and 12% spandex face fabric moves with the body through the full range of motion that technical terrain demands, from high steps on steep snow to the locked-in stance of a belay. A pre-shaped knee section supports natural movement without bunching or restriction, and mesh-lined hip-level ventilation zippers provide an efficient heat dump after demanding uphill sections. Integrated snow gaiters with attachment hooks and a dedicated adjustment system seal the lower leg against spindrift and wind-driven snow, while Cordura reinforcement at the leg hem protects against the cumulative damage of crampon points and ski edges that ends the life of lesser pants well before their time. Every adjustment point, from the external waist to the zippered leg hem with its elastic gusset and hook and loop closure, is accessible and precise, even with gloves on.
