Three-layer GORE-TEX Pro with a PFC-free ePE membrane delivers a 28,000mm waterproof rating alongside exceptional breathability and the kind of abrasion resistance that holds up through sustained contact with rock, ice, and technical terrain. This is the jacket that goes on at the base of a serious route and stays on through whatever the mountain decides to throw at you.

The high-reach fit keeps movement unrestricted during dynamic climbing, while X-vented underarm zips with water-repellent zippers let you dump heat fast on steep sections without compromising the weather seal. A helmet-compatible storm hood features an easy-repair exterior drawstring so a single point of failure never sidelines the whole system, and the two-way water-repellent front zipper adds another layer of weather protection at the most exposed seam. Two harness and backpack-compatible pockets with crossover access keep essentials within reach no matter how much gear is stacked on top, and an adjustable hem drawstring is also designed for easy repair in the field. Built from recycled nylon with solution dye throughout and Bluesign approved, the Crater Pro is Mammut's answer to the hardest conditions the alpine environment can produce.
