We pull on the Alnasca Hybrid Low Approach Shoe when our day includes hiking to the crag, belaying between burns, and unwinding afterward at camp. Designed by Mammut to handle it all, this hybrid shoe combines the relaxed feel of a closed sandal with the traction and structure of an approach shoe, making it a versatile companion for climbing-focused days.

The fully collapsible heel lets us slip in and out without fuss, ideal for quick transitions between climbs. An EVA midsole paired with an Ortholite® insole delivers lightweight cushioning and lasting comfort, while the Mammut Swiss Design outsole provides dependable grip on rocky terrain, even in cooler conditions. Added durability from the rubber toe cap and raised rand keeps feet protected as we move from trail to talus to downtime.
