La Sportiva built these around a recycled polyamide and elastane blend that is lightweight, quick-drying, and stretchy enough to handle whatever the trail asks of you. The perforated elastic waistband with an adjustable drawstring keeps things dialed across a full range of movement without pressure points building up over long hours. Two hand pockets take care of the small stuff on the move, and the zippered back pocket pulls double duty as a stow pouch when you need to compress the pant down for travel or pack storage.
