Targhee III Sandal - Men's

The KEEN Targhee III Sandal (Men's) is designed for hiking, watersports, and multisport use, offering trail protection, grip on uneven terrain, and quick-dry performance for active outdoor days on non-technical trails.

The sandal uses waterproof premium leather with a synthetic quick-dry lining (and performance mesh on some variants) for quick-dry performance, but the waterproof construction can feel warmer and may lead to sweat buildup compared with more open sandals.

It features a removable EVA footbed with arch support, a thick secondary foam layer, and an EVA midsole; the stack is thinner than the Targhee III shoe (heel ~23.8 mm, forefoot ~15.1 mm) and lab tests show lower shock absorption than average, so it’s less cushioned than full hiking shoes.

The non-marking KEEN.ALL-TERRAIN rubber outsole has multi-directional 3.3 mm lugs for high traction on wet and uneven surfaces and a durable construction (about 3.4 mm thickness without lugs and 1.0 mm wear), though it’s intended for non-technical terrain and user reviews report mixed long-term durability.
