Good In Theory, Not Practical IRL

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am someone who likes to cook outdoors, and I bought this to compliment my overland camping setup since it seemed like a really good fit with the rest of my gear. However, once I actually took it out for use in the wild, that is when I realized several things I do not like: 1. The 2 burner attached to the unit is too close to each other, and not strong enough for me. It might be strong enough for some, but I've tried cooking stew, steak, and some stir fry dishes on a normal 10' pots/pan but took way longer than my 7000 BTU burner I bought from Amazon as a backup for $30 (which I ended up using as a primary since this took too long). 2. The support legs for the wooden top extension are not very sturdy, and the clamp mechanism for adjusting and locking does not sustain much weight before it needs to be re-adjusted, which can be a bit annoying. 3. Storage compartment inside could be better if it had some kind of damper layer made of silicone or rubber. Anything solid you put inside here will make lots of noise if you are off-roading, and although this can be fixed with careful placement and additional bagging, it is a bit annoying to be dealing with. 4. I voiced my concern with backcountry.com, but because I was right outside the 30 day RMA policy by few days, they could not do anything for me (which is my issue but still putting it out here since my sodium level is a bit high at the moment, and this will probably be the last time I use backcountry.com for any purchase) Overall, if any of my complaints/issues I have with the product seems a bit trivial and does not concern you, then I think it could serve your needs very well in the outdoors. However, for me it was too expensive for what it actually offered ($400 USD before tax), and I cannot say that I can recommend this product to anyone who prioritizes cooktop BTU strength, spacing/placement of your cooktop, the sturdiness of the support legs, and the lack of damper inside the storage compartment.

Sharp edges

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have been eyeing this for years and was so excited to finally pull the plug on this purchase. For the price, I was expecting a high quality product, but one side of the box has sharp edges. Dangerous if you slip while loading it onto the van.

Disappointed
