The 3.5-layer construction moves with the body rather than against it, and the two-way stretch keeps things unrestricted through technical terrain where freedom of movement isn't optional. The helmet-compatible hood adjusts precisely enough to seal against driving rain without obscuring vision on exposed ridgelines, and fully sealed seams close off every potential leak path.
