The Gore Concurve GTX LE5 Jacket is built for both, wrapping the next-generation GORE-TEX ePE membrane in a body-mapped Kinetic Design construction that moves with the body through every stride rather than sitting on top of it like a traditional shell.

The GORE-TEX ePE membrane is thinner and lighter than previous generations while delivering the same guaranteed waterproof, windproof, and breathable performance that the technology is known for. Over nine billion pores per square inch keep rain completely out while allowing perspiration to escape, so the interior stays dry whether the moisture threat is coming from outside or within. Each fabric panel is strategically cut and positioned based on the body in motion rather than a static form, reducing seams and weight while enabling the jacket to flex naturally through the shoulders, arms, and torso without restriction. The magnetic buckle hood locks in place without adjustment, stays put through headwinds and direction changes, and keeps the face frame clear for visibility when the conditions get serious. Taped seams, a stand-up collar, adjustable hem, and zippered hand pockets complete a construction built around keeping the run moving regardless of what the sky is doing. The entire jacket is made with recycled content throughout, face fabric and backer alike.
