Register Mips Helmet

MIPS, or Multi-Direction Impact Protection System, is a safety technology designed to reduce the risk of brain injuries during impacts. It features a low-friction liner that allows the helmet to rotate slightly upon impact, helping to absorb and redirect forces that can cause concussions. This is crucial because traditional helmets often do not account for rotational forces, which can lead to serious head injuries.

In-Mold Construction is a manufacturing process where the helmet's outer shell is fused with the inner foam layer. This technique results in a lightweight, durable helmet that is well-ventilated. By improving the overall strength while keeping the helmet light, it enhances comfort and performance, making it ideal for long rides.

The Roc Loc Sport system is a fit adjustment mechanism developed by Giro that allows you to easily customize the fit of your helmet using a dial at the back. This feature enables micro-adjustments for a snug and secure fit, which is essential for both safety and comfort while riding. A well-fitted helmet can significantly reduce the risk of it shifting during an impact.

Yes! The Quick Link Visor is designed for convenience, allowing you to easily attach or detach it from the helmet. This feature is perfect for cyclists who want to shield their eyes from sunlight when needed but prefer to ride without it at other times. It enhances visibility and comfort, especially in bright conditions.

Reflective Rear Accents are designed to enhance your visibility to others, particularly in low-light conditions. These reflective materials help ensure that drivers and pedestrians can see you, reducing the risk of accidents during dawn, dusk, or nighttime riding. Investing in a helmet with these accents can significantly improve your safety on the road.

When selecting a helmet, consider the safety technologies like MIPS for impact protection, the lightweight and durable In-Mold Construction for comfort, and the Roc Loc Sport system for a customizable fit. Additionally, look for features like the Quick Link Visor for versatility and Reflective Rear Accents for enhanced visibility. These elements not only improve your riding experience but also ensure your safety on the road.
