Ace SC2 S skis ease into every on-piste turn
The Elan Ace SC2 S skis pair an Early Rise Rocker profile with a dual woodcore and fiberglass construction, easing into turns on groomed on-piste terrain without feeling vague underfoot. A Full Power Cap sidewall keeps the ski responsive to input, translating turns into edge grip rather than losing energy through the middle of the ski. Each pair comes set up with Elan's EL 10.0 SHIFT X binding, so there's no separate binding decision to make before hitting the lift.
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I linked easy, round turns down a groomer without fighting the ski for direction, and the tip came around exactly when I asked it to. It's the kind of predictable feel that makes an on-piste day less about managing the ski and more about just skiing."

Always Good Times
Elan is located in the Slovenian Alps, with almost 80 years of experience building the best skis in the world for friends and families who are all about good times in the mountains.
Phantom Glide By DPS Skis
This ski is compatible with Phantom Glide, the long-lasting base treatment from DPS Skis. Backcountry technicians apply and UV-cure it before the skis ship, so they arrive ready to ride with no waxing needed.
How It Works
Applied By Backcountry Techs
Backcountry technicians treat and UV-cure every pair in the shop before it leaves the warehouse, so the skis arrive ready to ride with no setup required.
Glide That Outlasts Wax
Wax sits on top of the base and wears off in a few days. Phantom Glide bonds into the base, so glide stays fast and consistent from cold powder to spring slush.
No More Wax Days
Phantom Glide replaces scraping, ironing, and shop visits with a quick base cleaning using the Phantom Glide Base Care Kit. The formula is made without PFAS.
Mounted And Ready To Go
When skis, bindings, and boots are purchased together, a Gearhead Expert mounts the bindings before the order ships.

Frequently Asked Questions
How should I choose a length for the Elan Ace SC2 S Black Ski w/ EL 10.0 Binding - 2027?
Choose among 140, 146, 152, 160, 168, and 176 cm based on your height, weight, ability, and preferred turn shape. Shorter lengths favor lighter skiers and quicker turns, while longer lengths suit taller or heavier skiers and a more stable feel. What turn shape does the Elan Ace SC2 S suit on groomers?
Its 74 mm waist is suited to quick edge-to-edge turns on piste, and the turn radius increases from 10.3 m at 140 cm to 17.1 m at 176 cm. Pick a length with a radius that matches your preferred turn size and pace. How does the Elan Ace SC2 S construction support edge grip?
Early Rise Rocker with camber pairs with a dual woodcore, fiberglass laminate, Full Power Cap sidewall, and steel edges. This construction is intended to make turn initiation easier while supporting responsive input and grip on groomed snow.Which boots fit the included Elan EL 10.0 GW SHIFT binding?
The package includes the EL 10.0 GW SHIFT binding, which accommodates approximately 255–371 mm boot sole lengths and has a DIN range of 3–10. Use compatible alpine boots with GripWalk or alpine ISO soles, and have the release settings set for your boot and skier information. Is the Elan Ace SC2 S a good choice for variable snow or deep powder?
The 122–74–103 mm tip-waist-tail dimensions and cambered profile favor groomed, firm, and mixed on-piste snow, with early-rise rocker helping in variable conditions. Its 74 mm waist is not designed for deep-powder flotation.
