ST Radical Binding - 2027

TLT, or Tech-Lite Technology, is a lightweight ski binding system developed by Dynafit that enhances your skiing experience, especially in backcountry conditions. It allows for a more efficient connection between your ski boot and ski, making it easier to climb uphill while providing a secure hold during downhill runs. This technology is ideal for skiers looking to maximize performance without the added weight.

The Radical Binding is specifically designed for backcountry and freeride skiing, emphasizing a lightweight construction and compatibility with TLT boots. Unlike traditional bindings, the Radical Binding offers enhanced versatility and performance, making it a great choice for adventurous skiers who want to tackle varied terrain with confidence.

Heel elevators are a feature in some ski bindings that allow you to raise your heel while climbing uphill. This design reduces calf strain and makes ascending steep slopes much easier. If you plan to do a lot of backcountry skiing or tackling challenging terrain, having heel elevators can significantly improve your comfort and efficiency on the ascent.

The bayonet lock is a user-friendly locking mechanism that secures your boot in place within the ski binding. It allows for quick and easy locking and unlocking, which is especially useful when you need to transition between skiing and walking. This feature enhances convenience and ensures that your boots stay securely attached while you ski.

Integrated brakes are ski brakes that are built directly into the binding, rather than being separate components. This design helps prevent your skis from sliding away when you remove your boots, enhancing safety on the slopes. By choosing bindings with integrated brakes, you can enjoy a more streamlined setup and added peace of mind while skiing.

TLT bindings are specifically designed to work with TLT-compatible ski boots, which feature a unique toe and heel design. If you have TLT boots, you can enjoy the full benefits of TLT bindings. However, if you have traditional alpine boots, they may not be compatible. Always check the compatibility of your gear to ensure optimal performance and safety on the slopes.
