Omni-Tech fully seam-sealed waterproof breathable construction closes off every potential entry point for moisture, from the bonded cuffs and hem to the PU-coated center-front zipper that seals tight when fully closed. The 2.5L construction layers an outer fabric, a waterproof breathable membrane, and a protective half-layer coating for durability without the stiffness that heavier shells can carry.

When the trail demands movement, the shell keeps up. A 2-way front zipper opens from the bottom for freedom through technical terrain, underarm venting releases heat on sustained climbs, and the attached hood adjusts for peripheral vision so you can see the trail ahead clearly even with the hood fully cinched. Reflective details add low-light visibility on early starts or late finishes, and the whole shell packs down into its own hand pocket for clean storage at the top of the pack.

Columbia built this shell from 100% recycled polyester, adding a lower-impact material choice to a piece that is already built to last through seasons of hard use on wet trails.
