The 260TPI Super Polyester casing brings Challenge's handmade suppleness and terrain conformity to a tire specifically designed to work hard in difficult conditions, assembling step by step using natural glues and latex coatings that preserve the casing's compliance and ride quality through the full range of rough terrain this tire was built for. SMARTplus compound adds the cut resistance and tread durability needed to maintain edge sharpness and grip confidence on sharp and abrasive surfaces across a full season of demanding riding. PPS2 double-layer puncture protection places two tightly-woven fabric barriers between the tread and casing, providing the enhanced flat resistance that aggressive terrain demands.
