SMARTplus compound steps up from the standard Smart formulation specifically for the demands of gravel and rough terrain, offering greater cut resistance and longer-lasting tread edges that stay sharper and grip more confidently over mixed surfaces as mileage accumulates. PPS2 double-layer puncture protection adds two layers of tightly-woven fabric between the tread and casing, providing significantly enhanced flat resistance against the sharp gravel, rocks, and road debris that define the surfaces this tire was built for.
