Women's Orange Paddle Tops

If you'll be on cold water for extended periods, a fully waterproof dry top like the Rev Dry Top with a nylon or polyester shell is the safest choice. For variable temps, neoprene layers such as a 1.5mm HydroSkin provide warmth while a 0.5mm HydroSkin short-sleeve or a splash jacket works well for light spray and wind.

Thicker neoprene like 1.5mm gives noticeably more thermal protection and is well suited for moderate to cold water. A 0.5mm HydroSkin short-sleeve is better for warm-weather paddling or as a breathable base layer under a jacket.

A women's paddle top should fit snug across the torso and chest but still allow full shoulder and arm rotation for proper stroke mechanics. Opt for women-specific cuts and consider the difference between short-sleeve and long-sleeve neoprene options so necklines and cuffs seal without restricting circulation.

Lightweight rash guards and hybrid tanks are great for SUP and sailing because they prioritize breathability and sun protection over insulation. Technical tops designed for warm-weather paddling often include UV protection and pair well with a HydroSkin 0.5mm if you want a bit of thermal coverage.

Look for sealed seams, reinforced stitching at stress points, and high-wear panels to extend the garment's life on busy waterways. Durable nylon or polyester shells resist UV and salt water, and mid-range models like the Taku Waterproof Jacket often balance sturdy construction with reliable waterproofing.
