Women's White Glove Liners

Five-finger liners are the most versatile choice for winter sports, mountaineering, and activities that need full dexterity, while three-finger or split-mitt liners concentrate warmth for stationary use or extreme cold. Half-finger designs hit a middle ground when you need moderate hand use without sacrificing too much insulation, and brands like Hestra offer both five-finger and mitt configurations to match different uses.

Polypropylene is the most popular option for moisture control because it wicks sweat away from the skin while maintaining warmth. Merino wool and wool blends offer superior temperature regulation and comfort, and some touch-capable models use a polyester-wool tricot construction for a balance of wickability and screen functionality.

Make sure liners fit snugly without excess bulk so your outer glove or mitten can close properly and maintain insulation. Pay attention to geometry—some liners are made as standalone pieces while others are engineered specifically to layer under shells—so try a slim profile if you plan to swap liners frequently.

Yes, many touchscreen-compatible liners allow full device interaction so you don’t have to remove your gloves while on the trail. Models like Burton’s Touch-N-Go and the Merino Touch Point Glove Liner are designed for low-profile layering and screen-tap use, with some constructions like a 78 percent polyester / 22 percent wool tricot for reliable performance.

Brands such as Hestra promote liners as a way to extend outer-shell life by letting you replace or swap liners while keeping the same shell, and sturdily made liners help reduce wear on the glove interior. In addition to washable, quick-drying constructions, quality liners can boost overall glove warmth by roughly 20 percent while preserving fit and comfort.
