Toddler Girls' Black Snow Pants

For casual backyard play and sledding, insulated pants with a grow-fit waist and slim-to-regular geometry work well for easy on/off and light snow. If you're headed to the slopes, a 2-layer shell bib with reinforced areas and adjustable suspenders gives fuller coverage and better durability in wet, heavy conditions.

If your child will be in cold conditions, aim for around 200g insulation, which performs well in roughly -10°F to 30°F temperatures. Many slope-ready bibs use 200g recycled polyester to balance warmth with mobility.

Higher waterproof/breathability ratings like 10K–20K help keep kids dry on long ski days and reduce internal moisture when they’re active. For casual school-day use, a lower rating paired with a durable DWR coating and taped seams can still fend off light wetness.

Sizing runs from 2T to 7 and up to XXL (18/20), so check inseam length and the pant’s slim-to-regular fit to ensure room for layers and movement. Features such as boot gaiters, articulated knees, and grow-fit waists help seal out snow while allowing a bit of extra wear room.

Yes—reinforced knees and Cordura hems add abrasion resistance where kids scrape or drag, which extends the garment’s life on the slopes. Value-minded models like the Kamik Winkie bibs and REI bibs with Cordura hems offer that tougher construction without adding a lot of bulk.
