Toddler Girls' Blue Snow Jackets

Ski jackets with powder skirts are built for high-activity days and can handle temperatures down toward -1°F while keeping snow out. Models like the Snow Dragons Peppy (180g insulation) or the Obermeyer Kitt (220g insulation) add extra warmth, and down options on some jackets can reach 650 fill power for added loft.

Fully waterproof parkas and insulated shells with a waterproof rating perform best in heavy, wet snow. Look for water-repellent 100% recycled nylon shells or synthetic insulation for wet-condition durability, and be cautious with fleece-lined snowplay jackets in prolonged wet conditions.

Pick a size that allows a light base layer plus room to grow; toddler sizes run 2T to 7 and you don’t want sleeves dragging. Waist-length cuts and wrist-fit sleeves with elastic or SnowGuard cuffs help trap warmth while adjustable hoods with rip-and-grip straps make sizing more forgiving.

Most toddler snow jackets are machine-washable, but take a few precautions to protect hardware and linings. Zip full zippers, fasten snaps and wash on a gentle cycle to preserve anti-pill fleece linings and reflective detailing.

Yes—many jackets come with powder skirts, storm flaps, wrist-fit or thumbhole cuffs, and adjustable hoods to block snow entry. The Obermeyer Kitt, for example, pairs a powder skirt with a fleece lining and multiple closures, while pockets and reinforced cuffs add abrasion resistance for play.
