Toddler Boys' Green Snow Jackets

Insulated ski jackets meant for downhill and resort play are built for cold, wet conditions and can handle temps down to about -10°F with midweight insulation. Look for jackets with 100–300g of synthetic fill or models like The North Face Revolve with 160g Heatseeker if your child will be spending long days on the slopes.

A shell is a good choice for milder days or very active kids because it adds weather protection without extra bulk and pairs well with mid-layers. Consider a breathable, waterproof membrane such as Gore‑Tex in the 10,000–20,000mm range when you want flexibility for changing weather.

Roomy cuts with articulated elbows and pre‑curved arms let kids move freely while wearing base and mid‑layers, and grow cuffs that add 1–2 inches help extend wear. Sizing generally runs true to age (2T–5T), but double‑check chest measurements (about 22–26 inches) and length for a better fit.

Aim for jackets with waterproof ratings of 10,000mm or higher, fully taped seams, and YKK waterproof zippers to keep moisture out during heavy snow. Breathability around 10,000g/m²/24hr and reinforced shoulders or elbows also help the jacket stand up to sledding and repeated abrasion.

Features like helmet‑compatible hoods, powder skirts, adjustable cuffs, and neck gaiters add warmth and keep snow out during active play. Models such as the Patagonia Snowbelle or the Obermeyer Gage also include practical construction like HydroBlock seams and removable hoods for versatility on cold, windy days.
