Toddler Boys' Green Sandals & Water Shoes

For mixed wet-dry days an open-toe sandal like the Teva Hurricane XLT Jr works well for dry beach walks and short hikes because of its durable strap system and lightweight build. The Hurricane XLT Jr also comes in toddler sizing for ages 1-4, making it easy to find a stable fit.

A secure heel cup and a snug rear strap give new walkers the stability they need while keeping the foot centered, and ankle straps help prevent slipping during movement. Make small adjustments so the sandal doesn't rub the toes or heel, and favor lightweight designs that promote natural foot growth.

Yes, closed-toe water shoes with reinforced toe caps and ankle straps protect toes from debris on rocky shores and during swimming. Models like the Reef Little Water Beachy offer quick-drying construction and a closed-toe profile suited for active water play.

Quick-dry fabrics reduce wetness and chafing after water play so tiny feet dry faster, while UPF 50+ protection on Reima models helps lower the risk of sunburn on exposed areas. Those features paired with anti-chafing fits and easy on-off designs keep shoes comfortable through long beach or daycare days.

Adjustable straps with heel cups and secure ankle straps let you fine-tune the fit to avoid rubbing, and lightweight construction supports natural foot growth during long wear. Look for easy on-off closures and durable materials so sandals stay comfortable through play and short hikes.
