Match the wheel to your bike's axle type (9mm quick-release or 12mm/15mm thru-axle), common hub spacing of 100mm front and 130mm rear, and the brake interface—rim brake or disc with centerlock or six-bolt rotors. Also confirm freehub compatibility with Shimano/SRAM hubs and that your frame has clearance for the chosen rim depth.
