Men's Run & Training Hoodies & Sweaters

Pullover hoodies work best for high-intensity runs and gym sessions because they sit secure and limit bulk; models like the Blitz Tech Hoodie provide seamless support suited to hard efforts. Zip-ups are ideal when you need quick ventilation or easy layers in variable weather, especially pieces with mesh panels and water-resistant hoods for light rain.

Different fabrics change how a hoodie handles sweat and smell: merino wool offers natural odor resistance and temperature regulation, while polyester or nylon blends with elastane wick moisture and add stretch. Recycled polyester versions tend to hold up through wash cycles and often pair with ventilated panels for breathability.

Raglan or articulated sleeves and flat seams reduce friction and give full arm mobility during long runs. Choose an athletic or tailored fit with stretch panels and ergonomic seams so the hoodie moves with your body without adding bulk.

For cold, windy, or light rainy weather look for a cold-weather hoodie with a brushed interior, wind-resistant fabric, and a water-resistant hood rated for light rain. Models like the UA Halo Cold Weather Hoodie add brushed ventilation and thermal regulation, and some pieces also include UPF 50+ for extra sun protection.

Lightweight fleece and French terry are ideal for post-workout recovery because brushed interiors and low weights (around 4-8 oz/yd²) deliver warmth without feeling heavy. The Atlas Lightweight Fleece, for example, uses recycled moisture-wicking fabric that helps dry sweat quickly while staying comfortable.
