Men's Black Glove Liners

Think about activity and warmth needs: lightweight merino liners like the Icebreaker Merino 200 Oasis (about 0.95 oz with a 9/10 warmth rating) work well on their own for running or hiking, while midweight or Thinsulate-lined options add insulation under ski gloves. Make sure the liner has a snug geometry and stretchy cuffs so it layers without adding bulk.

Many liners include touchscreen points on the thumb and index, and models like the Outdoor Research Versaliner Sensor feature Sensor Touch panels for reliable device use. Thinner merino or ultralight options preserve dexterity so you can operate a phone without removing the gloves.

Waterproof versaliner-style liners are the best choice for wet weather; the Outdoor Research Versaliner Sensor is specifically designed to handle rain while retaining touchscreen functionality. Breathable waterproof liners keep hands drier on rides and wet hikes without trapping moisture.

Aim for a snug fit that runs true across sizes from XS to XXL so the liner adds warmth without creating bulk under an outer glove. Stretchy cuffs and slim profiles — including ultralight options down to about 0.63 oz — help maintain dexterity and a smooth fit when layered.

Ultralight reflective liners with reflective accents are ideal for night runs because they increase visibility without adding weight; some reflective models weigh as little as 0.63 oz. Pick a liner that balances visibility with features you need, like touchscreen points, so you stay seen and connected on low-light outings.
