Kids Green' Snowboard Socks

For typical cold resort days, midweight socks with 2–4mm padding give enough cushioning and warmth for high-impact riding. Light-cushion socks work better for milder temps, while heavyweight wool blends handle extreme cold and moisture on long slope days.

Over-the-calf heights pair best with boots to prevent bunching, and crew lengths suit casual hill sessions. Size by shoe size—kids range from toddler up to youth large (roughly shoe sizes 13–7)—and choose anatomical left/right designs and contoured heels for a secure fit.

Merino blends (up to 65% wool) wick moisture and resist odor while offering about 20–30% better warmth-to-weight than synthetics. Smartwool's PhD heel construction is an example that combines merino warmth with targeted dry comfort for all-day wear.

If longevity is your priority, Darn Tough's unconditional lifetime guarantee stands out, and many merino styles maintain shape after washes. Also look for socks tested for 100+ machine cycles and reinforced heels/toes for extra durability.

Kids who ride all day benefit from arch support, anti-blister padding, and anatomical left/right construction to keep feet secure in boots. Models like the REI Co-op Timber Mountain 2-pack or cushioned mid-volume merino options offer the insulation and comfort needed for long slope sessions.
