Girls' Green Casual Pants

For everyday school wear, chinos in cotton twill give a neat, non-formal look while joggers offer more mobility thanks to elastic or rib-knit cuffs. Slim or tapered cuts work well for layering under jackets, whereas wide-leg or cropped palazzo styles suit dressier days and warmer weather.

Elastic waists and drawstrings are great for growth and quick changes, and many styles span kids' sizes 4–18 and include plus options for extended wear. Lands' End joggers, for example, pair lined fleece warmth with an elastic waist so kids stay comfortable after active play or on chilly mornings.

Midweight jersey and poly-spandex blends give stretch for movement while retaining shape, and french terry or brushed cotton fleece adds cozy warmth for lounging. Those heavier fleece styles resist pilling in casual use and still offer enough stretch to run around comfortably.

Look for stretch-forward fabrics and elastic waists in flared or palazzo cuts to get a flattering plus-size fit that still moves with you. Models like the Wonder Nation ribbed flare pants feature stretchy knits and a plus-size friendly flare that reads both casual and a bit dressy for school or events.

Cargo pants with snap or drawcord cuffs and joggers with elastic or rib-knit cuffs let you tighten hems for safer biking and freer leg movement. Abercrombie girls' cargo styles add utility with roomy pockets while cuff options keep dirt and hem-length from getting caught during active play.
