Yellow Cold Weather Bike Gloves

If you ride in rain or slush, a waterproof option like the Gore-Tex-equipped Giro Xnetic H2O will keep hands dry while remaining breathable. For dry, windy cold you’ll want windproof or insulated gloves, which perform well from the 40s down to about 10°F and preserve ventilation during hard efforts.

Lobster-style gloves group the ring and pinky to retain heat while keeping index and middle fingers nimble, making them a solid choice for bikepacking or technical trails in sub-20°F conditions. Pearl Izumi AmFIB Lobster Gel, for example, combines Primaloft Gold insulation with gel padding for improved warmth and trail control in wet, cold rides.

Touchscreen performance varies, and models like the Sportful Deep Winter have the highest compatibility noted here for reliable phone and GPS use. Be aware that very thick, heavily insulated gloves can reduce fingertip sensitivity, so choose a glove that balances touchscreen needs with the amount of insulation you require.

Yes, thin thermal liner gloves make great underlayers because they wick moisture and add warmth without significant bulk. Pairing a moisture-wicking liner with a glove like the SQlab ONE10 with cover can extend usable comfort into the roughly 0–10°C range.

Aim for a close, second-skin fit that preserves bar feel and shifter control; many brands offer sizes from XS to XXL and precise fit guides—Gore Zone Thermo and SQlab ONE10 are examples with multiple fit options. Extended cuffs can help seal at the wrist without adding unnecessary bulk, so prioritize a snug fit over loose padding when dexterity matters.
