Polycarbonate is a strong and durable type of plastic used in the construction of helmets. Its impact resistance makes it ideal for protecting your head during activities like skiing or climbing. Choosing a helmet made from polycarbonate ensures that you have reliable protection against potential impacts.

The EPS core, or Expanded Polystyrene, is a lightweight foam that absorbs shock during impacts. This means that if you fall or hit your head, the EPS core helps to reduce the force that reaches your skull, providing better protection and increasing your safety while engaging in sports like skiing or climbing.

Ventilation is crucial for keeping your head cool and comfortable during intense activities. Our helmets feature 17 vents that allow air to flow through, preventing overheating and sweat buildup. This ensures that you can focus on your performance without being distracted by discomfort.

The fit adjustment feature, often designed as a twist dial, allows you to easily customize the fit of your helmet. By simply twisting the dial, you can tighten or loosen the helmet for a secure and comfortable fit. A proper fit is essential for safety, as it ensures that the helmet stays in place during activities.

These certifications indicate that the helmet has been rigorously tested to meet specific safety standards. EN1077/B is for skiing helmets, ensuring they provide adequate protection for winter sports, while EN12492 is for climbing helmets, confirming their safety for climbing activities. A properly fitting helmet should feel snug but not overly tight. You can use the twist dial adjustment to achieve the right fit. When wearing the helmet, it should sit level on your head, and you should be able to fit one or two fingers between your chin and the chin strap. If it moves around or feels uncomfortable, adjust it until it feels secure.
