Vittoria

Frequently Asked Questions

• What is Graphene and how does Vittoria use it in their tires?

Vittoria integrates Graphene into its rubber compounds (often blended with silica) to tune grip, rolling resistance, and durability across disciplines. The Graphene-enhanced compounds are used in road models like the Corsa/Corsa Speed and in gravel/MTB lines to deliver better traction and longer tread life without a large weight penalty.
• Why do pro riders often choose Vittoria tubulars?

Vittoria tubulars pair supple cotton casings with a sewn-up construction that can provide lower rolling resistance and a smoother ride feel compared with many clinchers, which is why they remain popular in high-level road racing and Grand Tours. Their tubulars, when paired with appropriate glue or tape, also offer predictable handling at high lean angles and strong puncture-repair options during races.
• How does Vittoria tailor tires for gravel and cyclocross riding?

Vittoria’s gravel and cyclocross tires use dedicated tread patterns, wider casings, and Graphene-enhanced rubber to balance rolling speed on hardpack with bite on loose sections. Look for tread siping, reinforced sidewalls, and mixed-compound layouts that prioritize traction and durability for all-road or muddy cyclocross conditions.
• What design features set Vittoria’s MTB tires apart for trail and enduro use?

Vittoria MTB tires combine purpose-built knob shapes and siping for controlled flex and directional traction with Graphene-infused compounds that aim to improve grip and wear life. Multiple casing choices—from lighter, faster XC constructions to beefier, cut-resistant builds—allow riders to choose the balance of weight, traction, and puncture protection best suited to trail or enduro demands.
