Sweet Protection Snowboard

Frequently Asked Questions

• What should I focus on when sizing a Sweet Protection helmet for the best fit?

Use Sweet Protection’s sizing & fit guide and measure head circumference at the widest point; helmets should feel snug across the forehead without pressure points. Look for model‑specific features like cupped earpads (to avoid squishing ears), an adjustable retention dial, and strap geometry that accommodates your goggles and glasses. If you plan to wear thin liners or earbuds, factor that into your fit choice.
• Are Sweet Protection jackets and pants suitable for mixed use—resort days and backcountry missions?

Yes, Sweet Protection outerwear often uses performance fabrics like Gore‑Tex for waterproof/breathable protection and Primaloft insulation where added warmth is needed, balancing weather protection with mobility. Designs prioritize articulated cuts and storm‑ready features so pieces can handle resort laps and the variable demands of backcountry missions. Check each model’s technical spec for intended activity and breathability ratings to match your needs.
• What protective gear does Sweet Protection offer for high‑impact disciplines like freeride and enduro?

Sweet Protection’s lineup includes Back Protectors, Knee Guards, Shin Guards, Elbow Guards and race‑oriented pieces like the Enduro Race Vest, all aimed at impact absorption and body coverage for aggressive riding. Many items use layered, energy‑absorbing foams and ergonomic, low‑profile shells that stay secure under packs or outerwear while allowing a full range of motion. Match the guard size and coverage level to your discipline—slim, flexible options for enduro vs. fuller coverage for freeride hits.
• How well do Sweet Protection helmets and goggles work together to reduce fogging and ensure a secure fit?

Sweet Protection helmets are designed with goggle integration in mind—goggle keepers, matching vent placement and adjustable vent toggles help align airflow between helmet and goggle to reduce fogging. Many Sweet goggles feature anti‑fog lens treatments and venting that pairs with helmet ventilation, while helmet interiors use IONIC+ antimicrobial linings to manage moisture and odor for long days. For best results, choose helmet/goggle combinations recommended for the same activity and verify fit with your preferred goggle model.
