CAMP USA Snowboard

Frequently Asked Questions

• How should I size CAMP USA snowboard gloves for the best fit and board control?

Measure hand circumference around your knuckles and compare to the CAMP USA size chart; most styles use S/M/L/XL. Choose a palm‑grip cut that fits snugly without restricting circulation so you retain dexterity for straps and edges; if you plan to layer liners, size up slightly.
• What materials and construction features make CAMP USA gloves durable for snowboarding?

Look for waterproof breathable membranes (Gore‑Tex or equivalent), abrasion‑resistant outer fabrics, and goatskin or reinforced synthetic palms for durability. Reinforced palms and knuckles, taped seams, and layered insulation construction help resist tears from edges and impacts while maintaining weather protection.
• How warm are CAMP USA insulated snowboard gloves and how do I choose the right insulation weight?

Insulation levels commonly fall in the roughly 100–200g range; lower weights favor dexterity for park and active riding while higher weights prioritize warmth for cold, long days. Match insulation to your typical conditions and activity level—choose lighter insulation for high‑output, trick‑focused sessions and heavier fills for lift‑served cold or extended backcountry outings.
• How do CAMP USA palm‑grip gloves compare to CAMP USA insulated mittens for snowboarding?

Palm‑grip gloves prioritize board feel, strap control, and finger dexterity, making them better for park, freestyle, and technical riding. Insulated mittens trade some dexterity for added warmth and are a good choice for very cold conditions or long downhill laps where warmth is the top priority.
• Are CAMP USA snowboard gloves touchscreen compatible and do they provide reliable grip in wet snow?

Many CAMP USA glove models feature conductive fingertip panels for basic touchscreen use and textured or rubberized palm grips to maintain secure board and pole handling. For wet snow, prefer models with fully sealed seams and a proven waterproof membrane plus reinforced, abrasion‑resistant palms to preserve grip and durability.
