Designed for climbers who need lightweight protection without compromising mobility, the Black Diamond Alpine Start Hooded Jacket is built to handle variable mountain weather. Constructed from Schoeller stretch-woven fabric, this softshell offers breathable, flexible weather resistance that moves with us as we climb. Elastic at the hood, cuffs, and hem helps seal in warmth while maintaining a secure fit, and the adjustable, helmet-compatible hood gives added protection without obstructing our view. When the sun comes out, we simply pack it into its own chest pocket, clip it to our harness, and continue upward with ease.
