Big Agnes built the Battle Mountain Series Footprint from PU-coated nylon ripstop with a 1200mm waterproof rating that handles ground moisture from below while the tough face fabric resists the abrasion that comes with repeated nights on harsh alpine terrain. Compatible with both the Battle Mountain 2 and Battle Mountain 3 tents, it adds a durable sacrificial layer to the bottom of the system without meaningfully adding to pack weight, coming in at eight ounces for the two-person size and thirteen ounces for the three-person.
