Bedrock Mountain Clog, a nubuck leather hiking clog for camp and trail

Oiled Ecco nubuck leather, used as a single piece, forms the entire upper of the Bedrock Mountain Clog. With no lining layer between hide and foot, the unlined leather stays supple against the skin and holds up to repeated wear.

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

“Shallow creek crossings and muddy trailheads haven’t bothered the leather on my pair. A brush clears the dirt at camp, and the few water marks that stayed just add character. I oil them about twice a year to keep the nubuck supple.”

3D-Textured Footbed

The 3D-textured PU footbed grips the foot on the move, with socks or without. It prevents sliding regardless of pace or terrain.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Vibram Megagrip in a Bedrock-exclusive outsole design delivers trail-grade grip on wet and dry terrain. It sticks where standard rubber slides.

3-Point Strap System

Bedrock’s patented 3-point adjustment system cinches the heel and forefoot independently for a secure fit that moves with the foot. It’s what separates the Mountain Clog from a slip-on.

Minimalist Design

A flat heel-to-toe platform and anatomically molded footbed keep the foot in its natural position for an unrestricted stride. 16mm of cushion keeps it close to the ground without sacrificing comfort.

Rubber Toe Cap

A climbing rubber toe cap keeps toes protected on the trail and warmer when the temperature drops.

Wear & Care

Re-Soul & Repair Program

Re-Soul, Re-Strap, Repeat

The Mountain Clog is made to be re-soled, not replaced. When the sole wears out or a strap breaks, send them back to Bedrock and they’ll return them ready for another season.

Fit & Cinch

Set the three adjustment points once and the clog works like a slip-on from there. Worth noting: Mountain Clogs run small compared to US sizing, so Bedrock typically recommends ordering one size up.

Easy To Wear, Hard To Wear Down

Bedrock started in 2011 with two friends handmaking sandals in a Northern California cabin between river restoration shifts. Now based in Missoula, Montana, the brand builds minimalist, Vibram-soled footwear made to be repaired and worn hard for years. Since day one, they’ve given 1% of revenue to environmental nonprofits, because they believe the places they build for are worth protecting.
