Brandy Boxy Puffer Jacket - Women's

PFC-free DWR stands for Durable Water Repellent that is free from perfluorinated compounds, which are harmful chemicals often used in water-resistant treatments. Choosing PFC-free options is important for both your health and the environment, as it reduces the release of toxic substances into nature while still providing excellent water resistance.

Synthetic insulation is made from man-made materials, such as polyester, and is designed to be lightweight, warm, and often more water-resistant than natural insulation like down. Unlike down, synthetic insulation retains its insulating properties even when wet, making it a great choice for unpredictable weather conditions.

A raised collar provides extra protection for your neck against cold air and drafts. This design feature enhances warmth and comfort, making it ideal for outdoor activities in chilly weather.

A storm placket is a protective flap that covers the zipper of a jacket. It prevents wind and rain from seeping through the zipper, ensuring that you stay warm and dry even in harsh weather conditions. This feature is essential for anyone who spends time outdoors in unpredictable climates.

Elastic cuffs are designed to fit snugly around your wrists, which helps to keep cold air from entering the sleeves. This feature not only enhances comfort but also helps to trap warmth inside the jacket, making it more effective for keeping you warm during colder temperatures.

While PFC-free DWR jackets provide excellent water resistance, they are best suited for light to moderate rain. For heavy downpours, consider layering with a waterproof shell or looking for jackets specifically designed for extreme weather conditions. Always check the product specifications for the best performance in your intended use.
