When we’re heading out for a weekend in the woods, the Taurus 2-Person tent always makes the cut. ALPS Mountaineering designed it with a freestanding, two-pole dome setup that goes up in minutes, so we can spend less time wrestling poles and more time enjoying camp.
The dual-door design means no climbing over a partner in the middle of the night, and each door comes with a vestibule for keeping muddy boots and gear covered but out of the way. Mesh windows and fly vents balance airflow, keeping things comfortable even when the fly is battened down against rain. And with factory-sealed seams, a 2000mm-coated floor, and UV-resistant polyester fly, this tent holds up when the weather turns.
