Best backpack I've ever had for daily business and travel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is everything. I am a daily business backpack user and have had some great backpacks in the past. I did a ton of research and decided on this Surge Backpack. It is by far my favorite backpack that Ive ever used. It's the perfect size and great quality. I anticipate using this for years and years.

Fantastic looking backpack w/ some limit

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I bought the charcoal version (not currently sold) and it looks fantastic. I still look like a bit of a goober with it when I rock a suit to work, but much less of a goober than anyone else with a backpack. Build quality seems high. It is comfortable. I have the equivalent pack in light grey from patagonia (3100 vs. 3200 cu. in.), but the Northface pack feels much smaller because of the pocket orientation. I hate this part. The patagonia pack could fit all of my office stuff + random stuff (keys, etc.) + gym clothes and gym shoes. I can mostly fit this stuff into my Northface, but it's a lot tighter. I think the designers should have used fewer pockets (there are like 10 total) and opened up the main compartment a bit. But again, for looks and general functionality, this is the pack!

Perfect work laptop bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like this bag. Perfect work laptop bag. Compartments provide everything I need for storing glasses, cords, writing utensils, laptop cord, mouse, etc.

Great backpack, not as much room as the many pockets seem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great backpack. Love all the functional pockets for storage. The only issue I have with the backpack is the outer pockets. Those pockets essentially share the space with the main compartment. So if I add stuff to the outer pockets, you lose room in the main compartment. There's room enough for a change of clothing, a light jacket, and a small toiletry kit. I would like to give it 4.5 stars, since I really had only that one issue.
