Why We Like The Mountain Hardwear Camp 4 Large 95L Duffel Bag
Mountain Hardwear's Camp 4 Large 95L Duffel Bag is the second largest in their Camp 4 collection. Big enough for cross-country adventures, we haul anything from climbing gear to ski helmets and camping supplies. The coated 420D nylon is durable enough to be thrown in the back of the truck and is water-resistant to help moisture bead off when traveling in rain-prone climates. Removable foam-padded backpack straps let us carry this bag through the airport with ease, and the internal compression system reduces the volume of gear to keep us stable. Plus, we appreciate how the reflective accents help keep us visible when we land in a new area late at night.

Material could be a little heavier and more water resistant.

Good light duty bag
Solid bag, a little less heavy duty than I was expecting. I bought a similar bag made by Black Diamond and thought they would be the same. This one is good but definitely a lighter material that I do not have the same confidence in

Great bag
Heavy duty zippers are perfect for stuffing this thing full. The way it folds over on the ends make it easy to compact.

Carrying strap lacking
The bag holds a lot, but the strap design (if not using backpack straps) is extremely flimsy and uncomfortable to carry. It’s basically unpadded webbing. Would not purchase again. May return.

All around bag for an all around adventurer
Great duffel no matter what the adventure. I have taken my bag to Uganda, Africa, Zion National Park, and Yosemite National Park. Never used a more versatile bag.

Straightforward, lightweight, durable, but average
Bought this for a week long trip on the other side of the country with a lot of kit. Pros- Bag held up against airport handlers and conveyer belts with only minor scuffing on the logo. I find the interior draw string storage simple and handy, gave me piece of mind that liquids would stay relatively contained just in case. The built in stuff compartment actually works without requiring origami skills like some other bags, just roll it in. The bag itself is lightweight. Cons- Bag is very floppy, so it’s not really ever going to hold a shape without being fully packed. The single strap method of carry is pretty uncomfortable because this is a huge bag that is able to get very heavy and that strap is thin and likes to twist and become even thinner. Fairly expensive for the feature set versus the competition.
