Back again to give us swiss army knife versatility, the Burton Genesis Re:Flex Snowboard Binding strikes an ideal balance of anatomical design with suspension technology to ensure an excellent fit and response for everyone from pow surfers to park rats. The Kickback Hammock highback's suspension system cradles the back of the boot to add immediate response on turns and reduce fatigue during long days. Advanced composites keep the baseplate lightweight and strong, and they offer a responsive feel for quick edge-to-edge transitions. FullBED cushioning soaks up shock from flat landings and choppy snow, and AutoCant aligns your joints in a natural position to alleviate pressure on your knees and enhance ollie power.

Disappointed with Toe Buckles
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- M
- Height:
- 5' 9"
- Weight:
- 175
I purchased size M through Backcountry and paired them with a Jones Frontier (159) and Salomon Dialogue Dual Boa boots (10.5). Bindings and boots fit together like hand in glove (nice to be able to use a size M binding with a 10.5 boot). Used for two days of resort riding at Mammoth: Bluebird day 1, whiteout day 2, but not particularly cold either day. Bindings are very comfortable and perfect response level for my riding. But toe buckles (left foot in particular) did not work well. They frequently do not positively engage and don't give you an audible or tactile "click" as you ratchet. I repeatedly made sure ratchets were clear of snow and ice. Left one let go completely a few times and was loose at the end of the run. One ankle buckle also froze closed and was really difficult to open at the end of the day (and, as mentioned, wasn't that cold)--I pulled on the release so hard, thought I was going to break it. Used them, so can't return, and don't think there's anything "warrantiable" (I think they just don't work very well). Maybe (?) they'll get better as they break in, but don't really see how. Anyway, color me disappointed as I expect more from Burton with a binding at this price point.

Best binding to move in
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- L
- Height:
- 6' 3"
- Weight:
- 175
#gearhead I rode these bad boys through a couple different conditions. Hardback groomers and park days you'll be grateful for the extra room to twist turn as need to land that 540. On the powder it feels as though the board is delicately placed to your boots to make the most hairpin turns. Out of all the bindings I've ridden, these have to be in the top 5!
